Alpha pipes were made in Israel have a great reputation for being well made. Their pipes have a reputation for being a well made mid range pipe. This would date before the 80s. I am not sure it was smoked at all. There is no ghost and it is like new. I might have mistaken it for a smoked pipe and started to clean it. It has the factory carbon coating. It is a sitting pipe with nice thick walls.
