This is a great older smoker from Peterson's. With these older Petes you will find often the pits were left unfilled, which is a virtue in my eyes. It's made of wood, and it still smokes just as great. Ed Burak used to leave pits in his higher end pipes. This billiard was much loved and still has some stubborn carbon in the chamber which will only work for, not against the pipe. The 106 is a full in the hand billiard that should smoke like a dream.
