This pipe has never been used and is in excellent condition. It has the white spade logo on top like a Linksman pipe and I would say it dates pretty far back, possibly late 40s to 50s. Because of the fills and the high standards of the era it was considered a second. Despite the fills it is made of some stunning briar. It is in great condition.
