This is unsmoked old briar. This pipe is at least 30 years maybe more. The Gasparini family started making pipes in the 30s had used natural processes for curing briar, never the rushed techniques commonly done. This is a decent everyday pipe that should smoke great. The rim curves inward for easy loading.
