Peterson's Speciality pipes first appeared in the brand's 1945 catalogue and comprises a quartet of shapes which are named rather than numbered. These pipes eschew Peterson's usual, muscular design style in favor of a more petite, slender shaping that's remarkably lightweight. The pipes in this line are paired to lengthy vulcanite stems which highlight their willowy profiles, and they come available in a variety of finishes. This Barrel is here accented with a bright nickel band and is dressed in a crisp, darkly-stained sandblast.
